In the stained glass windows in the Chapel of Our Mother God in the Christian Brothers Novitiate, Vytautas Kazimieras Jonynas depicted 15 Mysteries of the Rosary, and at the bottom of the windows he included 14 pictures of the Stations of the Cross. The traditional Rosary consists of three parts (Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious), each with five mysteries, episodes from the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The stained glass cartoons in the collection represent two Joyful Mysteries, The Annunciation and The Presentation of Jesus at the Temple, two Sorrowful Mysteries, The agony in the garden and The scourging at the pillar, and three Glorious Mysteries, The Resurrection, The Descent of the Holy Spirit and The Coronation. These must have been the last versions of the idea, as the finished works differ very little from the cartoons.
