Lithuania’s name in the map of Central Europe by Hieronymus Münzer (1447–1508) included in the so-called Nuremberg Chronicle was the first mention of Lithuania in printed matter. The woodcut in the German issue “Litaw” differs from the woodcut “Lituania” in the Latin edition
