We are extending free-of-charge visits to TARTLE until the end of summer!

We are inviting visitors to contribute to scientific discoveries of art research MA students.

We are opening the door of Lithuanian Art Centre TARTLE for visitors willing to familiarise themselves with Lithuanian historical artistic assets and contribute to professional improvement of the new generation of art researchers. By providing a possibility to these visitors to see free-of-charge the first exhibition A Glance at the History of Lithuanian Art from Užupis of one of the largest private art collections in the Baltic countries accessible to the public and visit art works’ storage facilities, we will invite them to do a good deed – to give as a gift to MA students of Vilnius Academy of Arts a possibility to continue their research during internships abroad.

Professionalism of art researchers is especially important when assessing artistic heritage and spreading the message about it to society. Their work bears particular significance for us, too, as we implement our mission to collect and return to Lithuania cultural and historical Lithuanistic heritage scattered around the world. We would like to help them deepen their research and are inviting you to contribute to that – you will find a dedicated “good deeds’ box” at Lithuanian Art Centre TARTLE for that purpose.

As always, during a visit, small groups of guests will be accompanied by professional TARTLE art researchers who will share their knowledge.

For excursions in English, please register in advance by e-mail: events@tartle.lt or by tel. +370 5 2477724
