Pranciškus Smuglevičius' exhibition “Domus Aurea”
The gallery Kunstkamera (Ligoninės St. 4, Vilnius) presents Pranciškus Smuglevičius' exhibition “Domus Aurea” from the 18th of October till the 2nd of December.
“Domus Aurea” exhibition features 19 separate Pranciškus Smuglevičius' carvings from the Nero's Golden House (Domus Aurea) album that were erroneously called Baths of Titus. In addition to that, visitors will have an only one unique opportunity to see the full original “Domus Aurea” album from the collection of Rolandas Valiunas. The exhibition also features four Muses: Euterpe, Erato, Polyhymnia and Mnemosyne from the Pope Clement's album and presents works of other artists inspired by the ancient heritage, close to Pranciškus Smuglevičius creative spirit.
