Author: Zenon Stefański (1851–?)

Born in 1851. One of the first students of the Vilnius Drawing School, he attended it from 1866 to 1871. Between 1871 and 1880, he studied painting at the St. Pe­tersburg Academy of Arts. He can probably be identified as Zenon Stefanowski, a painter and teacher, who had the rank of class artist conferred by the academy.
